Transformers Fast Action Battlers – Double Blade Optimus Prime
My son has over 70 Transformer toys and this is the cheapest and most poorly designed one of them all. I don’t know what happened, but the revenge of the fallen fast action battlers are awful. The previous fast action battlers from the first movie, are made very well. What a disappointment.

I bought this toy for my soon-to-be 5-year old son yesterday. Definitely he need help to transform it, which took me about 8 minutes to convert it to the truck. He loves trucks so now he is happily playing with the truck and I will teach him how to do the transform later. So, i won’t suggest you just give it to a 5-yr old and expect him to do the transform at the beginning (some kids might but I believe majority need help from adult). I’ll see how well he can do the transform later then decide whether to continue buy this kind of toy to him.

This particular line of Transformers is just awful. We bought Optimus Prime and Bumblebee for our 4 year old son… Based on the packages suggestion this is a 4+ toy, with a difficulty of 2 out of 4. My son is very mechanically inclined, as am I and my husband. This toy is next to impossible to transform from robot form to vehicle form. parts snap off, and don’t naturally pop into transformation position. Lots of twisting, and force is required to get any semblance of the characters. Very frustrating for both the child and the parent. Pay the extra money and get one of the Universe Transformers, which click, and transform easily.
I know these aren’t the Transformers of *my* childhood, those were die cast and could take a beating, but for the cost, these should be higher quality than this.

I bought this Transformers for a little boy in a family we were buying for for Christmas. I did not get to meet the little boy and I wish I could have seen him open it up on Christmas morning. So I do not know much about the toy, but it looked great in the package.
Thanks for the prompt delivery. It got here in prime condition.

We have several Optimus Prime models including one of the larger and more expensive ones. This one IS easier to transform in that there are only a few steps to do it. However, the parts do not click easily into place and it takes a few minutes of jamming and rejamming, and still I cannot get him to look perfect. The doors on the bottom keep opening no matter what you do. My 4 1/2 year old cannot transform this on his own at all and I needed to look up the picture online to do it myself.
If your kids are really into Transformers I would still recommend this line as the best for Transforming because they can be done in just a few minutes whereas some of the more complicated models can take me a lot longer.
