Transformers 2 in regular theatre vs seeing it at IMAX?

I am planning to see Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen today, but I don’t know if I should see it at the regular theatre or see it at an IMAX theatre. Can someone give me some feedback on the following:
1. Is it to loud in the IMAX (such as explosions and fight scenes)?
2. Would one recommend wearing ear plugs (at the IMAX) if it is too loud?
3. What you recommend? IMAX or a regular theatre?

69% said they would still be interested in seeing Transformers 3, even if Shia LaBeouf did not appear in the third movie.
